Police are searching for two masked men after they stole tobacco products from a petrol station in Wool, just down the road from the new multi million Dorset Police headquarters at Winfrith Newburgh.
The break-in occurred between around 3.45 am and 4 am on Thursday 26th March 2026 at Wool and Bovington Motors in Dorchester Road.

Police say that two men wearing dark clothing with face coverings and gloves gained entry to the premises and made off with a quantity of tobacco products.
They are believed to have made off from the scene in a grey or silver Mark 5 Vauxhall Astra.
Police officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the burglary.
Police constable Josh Hurwood, of Purbeck police, said:
“We are carrying out a full investigation into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of Wednesday 26th March 2026.
“I would also urge residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
