Coronavirus crisis closes Swanage Library

Swanage Library, along with all libraries across Dorset, is set to close at the end of Friday 20th March 2020. The decision follows other public buildings that are already shut or have already said they are closing soon due to the risk of spreading coronavirus.

Dorset Council posted on social media this announcement:

“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close all Dorset Council Libraries from the end of Friday, based on the current government guidelines.”

It urged its users to continue to access its digital resources, e-books, audiobooks and magazines via its Dorset Council website
