Both vehicles were completely destroyed

While the fire was quickly extinguished, both vehicles were completely destroyed by the flames.

A spokesperson from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said:

“We were called to the car park at Britwell Drive, West Lulworth at 2.46 pm on Sunday 27th September 2020, where a car fire had spread to a second vehicle. Two crews attended, from Wareham and Bere Regis, and two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which destroyed both vehicles. The stop came at 3.34 pm.”

The cause has not been logged but the fire service says this suggests a fault of some sort in the first vehicle.
