Large quantity of fuel stolen in Studland

Purbeck Police are appealing for information after the theft of a large amount of diesel from a location in the central area of Studland in Dorset.

The incident occurred overnight between Monday 21st March and Tuesday 22nd March 2022.

“Any vehicle towing a small bowser”

In particular, Purbeck Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a vehicle towing a container that could have been used for transporting fuel.

Purbeck Police reported:

“We have received a report this morning of the theft of a large quantity of diesel in the central Studland area that occurred overnight.

“If you saw anything suspicious late last night or in the early hours of this morning, particularly in relation to any vehicle towing a small bowser capable of holding fuel, please contact us.”
