Gold awards

Swanage Information Centre has been nominated in the visitor service of the year category, while Durlston Country Park has been shortlisted in the accessible and inclusive category. This follows on from the Dorset Tourism Awards 2019 when they both won Gold awards in their categories..

Commenting on the Swanage Information Centre’s nomination, the Chair of the Council’s Tourism Committee, Councillor Caroline Finch said:

“This is great news, as it once again demonstrates that the centre’s team is performing to a very high standard and should be really proud of what it is providing here in Swanage.”

“We weren’t expecting to reach the SW Awards this year, as we knew we had some stiff competition, but the consistency of excellence shown by the team has shone through!”
