Purbeck police say they have arrested a man in Swanage, Dorset, who they believe possessed the Class A drug cocaine with the intent to supply it to others.
The arrest was part of Operation Nighthawk which tackles drug-related crime, violence and disorder, anti-social behaviour, and night-time economy offences.

During Operation Nighthawk, patrols are sent to areas identified as crime hot spots based on data and community intelligence.
Purbeck police reported:
“While carrying out Operation Nighthawk patrols in Swanage, officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after several bags of suspected cocaine were reportedly found on him.
“Our officers will continue to patrol Dorset’s towns and communities, ensuring residents and visitors can enjoy a safe summer.”
