Man arrested on suspicion of Studland indecent exposure

Following a report of a man indecently exposing himself in Studland, Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.

Dorset Police say that at around 1.30 pm on Friday 1st November 2024 a man allegedly exposed himself and performed an indecent act on Knoll Beach.

Seven other offences

Following enquiries, a 45-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He was further arrested in connection with seven other offences in the area dating back to March 2024.

He has been released on police bail as officers continue their investigation.

Police constable Molly James, of the Dorset Police volume crime team, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this incident and we have now made an arrest.

“We understand there are likely to have been a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and so I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to please come forward.

“Furthermore, I would urge anyone who has witnessed similar activity in this area in the past who has not yet spoken to police to please come forward.”
