Man charged with ‘exposure incident’ in Studland

Dorset Police say that a man from Weymouth is to appear in court in connection with an exposure incident in Studland and a second incident near Dorchester.

The man in his 50s has been charged with the reported exposure incidents that date back to 2014 and 2019.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

“Following a detailed investigation by detectives into reports of exposure, a 55 year old Weymouth man has been charged in connection with incidents at Beach Road in Studland on 27th April 2014 and in Meadow View in Charminster on 29th December 2019.”

Dorset Police say that the man has also been charged with an allegation of theft of a camera in Dorchester on 29th September 2019.

He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20th July 2022.
