Man released from investigation after reported sexual assault at Durlston

Dorset Police say that a man arrested in 2020 in connection with a reported sexual assault in the area of Durlston Country Park near Swanage, will face no further police action.

The incident was reported to have occurred during the night of Wednesday 15th July 2020 into the morning of Thursday 16th July 2020.

“Face no further police action”

Dorset Police said:

“It was reported that a woman aged in her 20s was sexually assaulted by a man.

“A 21 year old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and was released on police bail. He was subsequently released under investigation as enquiries continued but has now been released from the investigation and will face no further police action.”

According to Dorset Police, the investigation into this matter has now concluded.
