Doctors in Swanage are concerned that many local people aren’t getting vaccinated against flu, despite being eligible for a free jab.
Now Swanage Medical Practice is running a third extra walk-in clinic between 9 am and 11 am on Saturday 9th November 2024 to encourage more people to protect themselves – and those they look after – against the flu strains that are expected to circulate over winter 2024 / 25.

Just walk-in to Swanage Medical Practice opposite the Co-op in the centre of town
No appointment required
The flu jab session is a walk-in clinic, so no appointment is required and people can just turn up to the surgery in Station Approach opposite the Co-op supermarket.
Dr Claire Hombersley of Swanage Medical Practice said:
“There are more than 900 eligible patients in Swanage who are yet to have their flu jab and we are concerned about this.
“We’re running a third extra clinic to try and protect the community, so I’d really urge people to come along if they haven’t had their jab for this winter. Please share this information with your family, friends and neighbours, who may not know about the clinic.”
