The road will be closed daily from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm with vehicles able to use the road outside those times.

Diversion via Valley Road

The stretch of road affected is from the junction with Currendon Hill near to the Isle of Purbeck golf club to just past the viewpoint layby.

While this is a short section of road, it will mean that those travelling to Corfe Castle from Swanage or Studland, will have to go via Valley Road, which passes through Harmans Cross.

“Works are weather dependent”

“Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependent.

“A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.”
