Detectives have issued images of six people they would like to identify as they continue to investigate reported disorder at an illegal rave near East Lulworth in Dorset.
Dorset Police was first alerted to the rave – advertised on social media as EggTek – at around 11.45 pm on Saturday 4th April 2026.

It’s estimated that more than 2,000 people turned up for the Eggtek event on the Ministry of Defence land, which caused widespread disruption with hundreds of cars abandoned on the roadside, and the noise of the amplified music disturbing residents as far away as Stoborough.
Scores of officers, many in riot gear, from across Dorset, the South West and beyond, attended the scene to try to disperse the rave goers.
It was reported that while they were responding to the incident, officers were subjected to violence by a number of those present, with a number of officers reportedly assaulted.
A total of eleven arrests were made over the weekend of the event.
A man aged in his 30s from Bedfordshire was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possessing a class A drug. He remains on police bail.
Three further men – a man aged in his 20s from Bridgewater, a man aged in his 20s from Pembrokeshire and a man aged in his 30s from Poole – were arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and also remain on police bail.
A further seven arrests were made for driving offences and they all remain released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective chief inspector George Graham, of Dorset County CID, said:
“We have been conducting a thorough investigation of the incident that unfolded as police attended the unauthorised music event at East Lulworth during Sunday 5th April 2026, this has involved carefully examining a substantial amount of footage from the day.
“We are now in a position to release images of six individuals we would like to identify in connection with this matter and I would urge anyone who recognises them to please make contact with us.
“We take reports of assaults on our officers very seriously and will explore all available lines of enquiry to ensure those who are reportedly involved are identified and held to account.”
Purbeck has been subject to a number of illegal EggTek raves over the years, which has left many local people angry and upset over the noise and disruption usually held over bank holiday weekends.
In the past, the events have been ended by police without the use of riot tactics. Some of the rave goers have complained about the police actions in April 2026, saying they were shocked by the level of force against them.
