Following reports from concerned Swanage residents for the welfare of two people sleeping rough along Swanage seafront, Purbeck Police have been able to assist them to find appropriate help.
With many facing troubled times amid the economic chaos of the coronavirus pandemic, people are being urged to seek support if they need it from the many organisations in Purbeck that can provide accommodation and financial advice.
“They are now receiving support”
Purbeck Police said:
“The two males were identified as being very vulnerable and unable to contact suitable agencies for support.
“Purbeck units have now been able to assist the individuals with transportation and signposted them to the appropriate agencies, where they are now receiving support.”
