Ron the Seal spotted in Swanage Bay

It was a welcome return to Swanage for Ron the Seal, who was seen playing in Swanage Bay.

A regular visitor over the years, he always attracts attention as he swims around the bay, playing with the buoys and surfing the waves.

Yesterday evening, the grey seal drew a small crowd, who were able to photograph and film his antics. This footage was captured by local resident, Ross Elliott Prior.

Hopefully it won’t be long before Ron is joined in the bay by Danny the Dolphin, who was also a popular visitor last year.
