A body of a man has been found, following the search for a swimmer who went missing near Durdle Door in Dorset, last Sunday.
Dorset Police said that at around 12.35 pm on Tuesday 23rd June 2020, a body of a man was located in the water near to Man O’ War beach. While the body has yet to be formally identified, it’s believed to be that of the man who went missing.
The alarm was raised last Sunday when it was reported that a man in his 20’s from London, had gone missing while swimming with two other people and had not returned to the shore.

Extensive searches were carried out
Extensive searches were carried out to try and locate him by a number of agencies, including officers from Dorset Police, members of the police dive team, HM Coastguard and the RNLI, with assistance from the ambulance service.
His family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.
