Swanage road closed following three car collision

Purbeck Police and the Swanage Ambulance Car were called to the scene after a three car crash in Northbrook Road in Swanage.

The incident, that blocked the road, happened just before 9 am on Tuesday 20th April 2021 near the junction with Walrond Road and Purbeck View School.

A woman was treated by the ambulance car paramedic for minor injuries.

The road was cleared at around 11 am

Dorset Police said:

“We received a report at 8.57 am of a three-vehicle collision on Northbrook Road in Swanage. It was reported that the road was blocked.

“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and one woman was treated for minor injuries. The road was cleared at around 11 am and officers left the scene.”

The Purbeck Neighbourhood Policing Team added:

“The road is now open – thank you for your patience whilst emergency services were at the scene.”
