Swanage skatepark targeted by “mindless scrawling” says police

Purbeck Police are appealing for information after the equipment at the skatepark in King George’s playing fields was daubed with paint.

This incident on Sunday 8th November 2020 at around 8.30 pm, is the second time that graffiti has been sprayed on the skate park ramps recently.

As part of the skatepark, there is a graffiti wall which has been specifically provided for those who wish to exhibit their art.

“Talentless individuals”

Purbeck Police said:

“Unfortunately, some talentless individuals have been vandalising the skatepark in Swanage with their mindless scrawling again. It’s an affront to the community who provided this facility for the town.”
