Purbeck Police say that a repeat suspected shoplifter has been arrested and charged in relation to eight reported offences in Swanage, Dorset.
The charges relate to eight incidents at the Co-op store in Kings Road West between Saturday 10th August 2024 and Saturday 21st December 2024, involving the alleged theft of items totalling more than £600.

39 year old local woman arrested
Purbeck Police reported:
“Following enquiries by officers, a 39 year old local woman was arrested and charged with theft. She is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 11th April 2025.
“Local officers continue to work with the Investigation Resolution Centre’s Retail Team to identify suspected prolific shoplifters and take action to hold them accountable for their reported offending and prevent further incidents.”
