Numerous number plates were damaged or removed from vehicles by two young men who were spotted in the early hours on a housing estate in North Wareham in Dorset.
The vandalism of around 25 vehicles happened between 12.15 am and 1.30 am on Tuesday 15th October 2024 and follows a number of similar incidents in the area over the last few months.
The damaged vehicles were parked in Sandford Road, Drax Avenue, Northport Drive and Admirals Way
Check ring doorbell or CCTV footage
Police officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
Residents are also being asked to check ring doorbell or CCTV footage in the area of Sandford Road, Drax Avenue, Northport Drive and Admirals Way, where the damaged vehicles were parked.
Dorset Police say the suspects are described as two male young people aged in their late teens.
One was wearing dark jeans and a black hooded jumper with colourful writing on it. The second suspect was described as wearing a light-coloured hooded jumper and blue jeans.
Residents posted pictures of their damaged vehicles on social media, some saying that they had repaired their number plates recently, only for them to be attacked again
