Winners revealed of best Christmas lights in Swanage

A competition to find the best festive decorations in Swanage has proved a tricky task, as many residents went to astonishing lengths to create dazzling displays to banish the winter gloom.

Organised annually by Swanage Chamber of Trade, the judges were looking for the best Christmas windows and gardens.

After much deliberation it was decided to award the first prize in the residential category to three joint winners.
