A 30 year old man has been arrested after a woman was injured when a set of car keys were thrown at her through an open car window outside a Wareham supermarket.
It was reported that a man assaulted a woman outside Sainsbury’s in South Street between 3 pm and 5 pm on Thursday 16th June 2022.

Dorset Police say that they are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Following their enquiries, a 30 year old local man has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and released on police bail.
“There were a number of people in the area at the time”
Police constable Liam Moss, of Dorset County CID, said:
“I appreciate this incident was some time ago but from our enquiries we understand there were a number of people in the area at the time, including members of the public who came to the aid of the victim.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and would also ask anyone who was in the area and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
