RNLI Swanage’s inshore lifeboat can now take to the seas once again after being repaired, following a busy summer.
The boat, named Phyl & Jack, was crane lifted back onto the water at the RNLI’s UK headquarters in Poole following the work.
The repairs were carried out at the All-Weather Lifeboat Centre (ALC) – the centre which helps build and maintain the RNLI’s fleet of lifeboats.
On social media, Swanage Lifeboat Station said:
“Here is our inshore lifeboat ‘Phyl & Jack’ being lifted back into the water at the RNLI in Poole following some repairs.
“It’s great to have her back on station. Thank you to the team at the ALC for getting her ready for service.”
