Firefighters called to a digger on fire in Wool

Crews from Wareham, Dorchester and Poole Fire Stations were called to extinguish a mechanical digger that had burst into flames.

The incident happened in a rural location in Wool in Dorset on Tuesday 3rd March 2021. Crews were paged at 3.12 pm.

Wareham Fire Station reported:

“One fire engine and the uni mogg went to a tracked digger that was on fire near Wool. We were joined by Dorchester and Poole Fire Stations.”
