Santa’s coming to Swanage – check out when he’s in your street!

Helped by elves from Swanage and Purbeck Rotary and Crazy4Corfe, Santa will be travelling across Purbeck in his sleigh, bringing festive cheer again this Christmas.

Santa’s full itinerary of the roads that he’ll be visiting in Swanage, Langton Matravers and Corfe Castle between Thursday 1st to Tuesday 22nd December 2022 has just been released.

“Collecting money for Rotary projects”

They’ll be sweets for children and Santa’s helpers will be collecting money for projects supported by Rotary.

President of the Swanage and Purbeck Rotary, Chris Le Fevre said:

“We’re delighted to be helping Santa visit Swanage again this year. A number of elves will be in support collecting money for Rotary projects.

“These include support for schools and pre-schools in Swanage, Corfe and Langton, the Rotary Young Musician competition, help for those struggling with cost of living issues and our annual tea party for senior citizens.”

As well as Santa’s tour of the streets, there’s also a chance to spot him at the switching on of the Christmas Lights from 3 pm to 4.30 pm on Saturday 26th November 2022, outside The Mowlem in Swanage town centre.

At the popular Swanage Christmas Market on Saturday 3rd December 2022, Santa will be able to give his reindeers a rest as he will be parking up his sleigh and available to say hello to children from his grotto.

The market in Station Road from 10 am to 4 pm will also include a wide range of festive stalls, music, refreshments and attractions.
