Horses in Studland caught by police after bid to hoof it!

Missing horses were safely reunited with their owners after escaping from their field in Studland.

Purbeck Police were called on the morning of Tuesday 6th October 2020 when it was reported that there were horses on the road towards Studland.

Found at a “neighbourrrrrring” farm

After enquiries were made, officers found the horses at a nearby farm. They were safely brought home to their owners at the National Trust.

A police spokesperson said:

“First job of the day was a call about horses loose on the fast road towards Studland.

“After several enquiries we located the missing horses at a neighbourrrrrring farm and reunited them with the National Trust. Oh, we do love a happy ending.”
