Cigarettes stolen from Harmans Cross garage

A petrol station at Harmans Cross near Swanage in Dorset has been burgled, with the thieves making off with a large quantity of cigarettes from behind the counter.

Dorset Police are now investigating the crime at Foleys Garage in Valley Road, and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward about the theft.

“Appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious”

A report about the break-in was received by Dorset Police at around 4.30 am on Monday 18th December 2023.

Police constable Katy Ross, of Purbeck police, said: 

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and as part of my enquiries an examination of the scene was carried out.

“I am now appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the village around the relevant time to please come forward.

“Also, if you have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam or home CCTV footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
