Lockdown beat for the police across Purbeck

Officers from Purbeck Police have continued their patrols during the coronavirus lockdown, checking in at beauty spots across the area.

The force has posted photos of their rounds on social media as they continue to watch over the county – both in response to calls and during routine patrols.

They have been patrolling the roads day and night – and have even caught sight of some of Dorset’s wildlife, such as the deer spotted at Studland.

“Stay safe everyone”

On their Facebook page, Purbeck Police said:

“We can’t be everywhere at once but we try really hard to get to as many places as possible, as well as being called to jobs and assisting our response officers.

“We cover Purbeck everyday of the year, 24/7, rain or shine and we like keeping you up to date with what we get up to. Now to head back out and do it all again! Stay safe everyone.”
