The Christmas Tree Festival lights up the Emmanuel Baptist Church and brings plenty of festive cheer

Many thanks to the minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Swanage, Mark Hatto and the church’s adminstrator, Janet Norley.

The Christmas Tree Festival happens every year at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Victoria Road in Swanage. The event invites local businesses, charities and organisations to buy a Christmas tree and decorate it.

The trees are then displayed in the church and the whole community is invited to view the dazzling display. There’s also a programme of musical events. Over the three days in December, teas and refreshments are available to buy and all the money raised is donated to charity.
