Purbeck Police are appealing for information after a man received injuries to his face when he was attacked by a group of teenagers outside Jewson builders merchants in Swanage.
At around 6 pm on Friday 2nd December 2022 a man aged in his 40s was walking along the High Street when he approached a group of around four teenagers outside Jewson builders merchants.
Hospital treatment
The police say that the group became abusive toward him and he was then assaulted, receiving facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
Police constable Stuart Wilson, of Purbeck Police, said:
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this assault and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened to please contact us.
“In particular, I understand a member of the public came to the aid of the victim after the incident and I would be keen to speak to this individual as they may have information to assist our investigation.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident to please check any dashcam footage for anything of relevance.”
