Swanage car parks to start charging again

Car parking charges are to be reinstated for the car parks operated by Swanage Town Council from Monday 15th June 2020.

The charges were suspended during lockdown which meant that not only did people not have to pay but they could avoid coming into physical contact with payment machines.

Now residents, visitors and shoppers will have to remember to pay. People are being advised to use contactless ways of payment if possible. The maximum stay period for each car park will also be enforced.
