New images have been published showing the extent of the large-scale cultivation of what’s believed to be cannabis, in a factory in Wareham
The unit on the Westminster Road industrial estate in Wareham was raided by Dorset Police following a tip off on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
Inside the factory, the operation has been described by police as “sophisticated”

The arrest warrant was executed by police officers from the Weymouth Force Support Group, together with other teams from Specialist Operations and the Professional Development Unit.
The pictures released by Dorset Police Specialist Ops reveal what they describe as an “extremely large, sophisticated cannabis factory.”

Five men arrested
Following the raid, five men – Elvis Martini aged 24, Klodi Martini aged 25, Gjovalin Hila aged 32, Nikolin Hila aged 33 and Bardh Ndoja aged 51, all of no fixed abode, were arrested.
They appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 4th February 2023 and were charged with conspiring to produce a quantity of cannabis, a class B drug.
The defendants did not enter pleas to the allegations. They were remanded in custody until the next hearing, which will be at Bournemouth Crown Court.
